Manti just grabbed Louis Nix and said "I need you." At that point I took my doctor's advice to not drink & shot-gunned it to my face
— Mo (@FightingIrish17) November 3, 2012
This came from the Pitt game during OT and has so much awesome. Manti hyping up Nix, making me want to run through a wall. And then shotgunning a beer, making me want to run to my fridge and warm up the diesel.
That touchdown pass was Madden-esque.

Goodman’s TD catch in the Michigan State game definitely was definitely a video game catch. Perfect description.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Lane Kiffin just erased his own team's touchdown.
— Stewart Mandel (@slmandel) November 25, 2012
We tried to find more tweets from this moment, but there were too many that simply said: “LOL” or “Kiffin’s a dumbass”.
I was expecting a parachute to deploy when Stephon Tuitt hit the end zone
— Dino DeMilio (@dinodemilio) September 1, 2012
If your jaw wasn’t on the floor during Tuitt’s TD fumble return against Navy, you simply weren’t watching the game.
The USC goal line stand was awesome. The image I have in my head right now — even more so.
You need to really digest this, you guys.. Notre Dame is the ONLY team not to trail at any point this season. With that schedule? Wow.

ND went from the end of Purdue to the OU game without giving up an offensive TD. Simply incredible.
"This is fun," said Mike Mayock as the surgeon amputated his foot.
— BUM CHILLUPS (@edsbs) November 3, 2012
This is the only ND/Pitt tweet that I could find to properly put the game into it’s insane context that wasn’t a tweet of a ND fan about to have a heart attack.
This particular tweet happened after Manti flattened Landry in the OU game. This is a perfectly appropriate response.
th– that's Tommy Rees' music?! Seriously?
— Garrett Kuk (@garrettkuk) September 8, 2012
When Rees came into the Purdue game, most people took to Twitter to lose their damn minds. However, shock was definitely the first reaction — we were just too dumbfounded to tweet it.
I think Pitt has set the alltime record for "Longest Period Of Time Squeezing One's Own Throat." #nd

ND had an incredible comeback on Pitt, but we definitely need to give the Panthers some credit for the epic collapse.
No, no, no that is not a FAT GUY TOUCHDOWN. That man is freakishly large and fast.
— Adam Kramer (@KegsnEggs) September 1, 2012
It may not have been a fat guy touchdown, but it was still amazing.
Cierre Wood SMOKED the DBs on that run. #NDspeed
— The Biscuit (@HLS_Biscuit) October 28, 2012
Cierre Wood’s run was simply incredible, but watching a ND back blow past everyone like it was nothing gave me goosebumps.
This is a real tweet from a real account RT @ESPN_BigTen Michigan's last five pass attempts of the first half all resulted in interceptions.
— Matt Fortuna (@Matt_Fortuna) September 23, 2012
Denard’s performance was all kinds of awful. Let’s be honest, it was borderline unbelievable how bad it was. That ESPN tweet looked like a joke, but, thankfully, it was all real.
Another monument to Denard’s awful game. I’m not sure which is better to describe the failure — you choose.
Tommy Rees scores on a quarterback draw. The Mayans were right.
— Sam Werner (@sjwerner11) September 23, 2012
Well, it’s 2013 and we are still here, but if you had told me Tommy Rees would score a rushing TD on a designed QB draw at any point in the season, I would’ve laughed at you.
You can just see the “OMG” develop in the tweet. Simple and contains no joke, but definitely captures what this region is about.
