    Couple of takeaways:

    1) I do not possess the verbal skill to adequately describe how awesome our defense is. I just don’t. I think I’ll just leave it there.
    2) Where the hell is our passing game? Why were we unable to move the ball against a very middling defense? I honestly could not figure it out. We just didn’t ever seem to be where we needed to be. Eifert was open a total of twice, I think. Maybe three times. Our WRs never seemed to get away from coverage.
    3) The run was stuffed often against a supposedly mediocre line. GRAH. So much potential there and we keep misfiring.

Apologies for the lack of an open thread. I thought I had a draft queued up for one, but apparently, I was wrong.

      Mea culpa.

Tex, maybe you can give me some color on this, but I thought that the vaunted offensive line was “experienced” and going to be a force to be reckoned with this year. It seems like they’re neither experienced nor a force to be reckoned with…

Well, maybe experienced, but certainly not a force.

Right now my gut is telling me that Golic is the weak link and is being attacked, but I need to examine more game film to be sure. The interior has easily been the weakness, so I feel like I’m not too far off.
