Irish musician Ken O'Malley has teamed up with an ND Alum (and friend of the site) to produce an album of new ND Fight Songs called "Forever Irish", due out mid-season this Fall. While the full album is not yet released, the first single "We Are Her Loyal Sons" (fitting, eh?) has been released, and it's awesome. Check it out:
Every time I hear the song I get more and more ready for IRISH FOOTBALL YEEEEEEEAH BABY!!!!!!
A portion of all Sales will go to the ND Scholarship Fund and to Kelly Cares. You can find the song on:
-iTunes (search "We Are Her Loyal Sons" or "Ken O'Malley")
-Amazon, at: We Are Her Loyal Sons
-And anywhere else digital downloads are sold
So check it out and support fellow ND fans!

Yes, awesome, if what really gets you pumped up for Saturdays is theme music from late 1980s cartoons.

I donno, i appreciate the effort of a fellow fan and i dont want to discourage him, but this one doesnt do it for me. “Here come the Irish” is still #1, Rudy theme #2. Maybe the rest of the cd will be better?

May not be for everybody – I’ve had it in my head since I first heard it though. Definitely on my Saturday AM playlist.

I find your love of “Here Come The Irish” a bit disturbing. It’s like professing love for the music from the Sequel to River Dance.

I guess it takes all kinds, doesnt it? I like the rhythm of the song and it just pops up in m head so naturally. When I listened to Her Loyal Sons, I easily drifted out of paying attention

Got a giggle from the line -we spend half the work day on our message boards- its funny cause its true. Other than that it was pretty corny. Trey is right, I’m gonna stick with “Here come the Irish”.

Here Come the Irish is a classic, but there’s room on my ipod for both. I don’t see it as corny, more just good ole-fashioned fun.

Almost forgot.
LNIII’s theme song was written and later destroyed due to people bursting into flames from attempting to sing about his pure awesomeness. That’s right, I said awesomeness.
