Great win by the boys today. The team looked prepared and focused, and we matched up well with the 'better' athletes from Da U.
Great win for Kelly, the team, and the program.
GO IRISH!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR LETS GET DRUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Danielson said in the second quarter “This Notre Dame team came to play!” it nearly put tears in my eyes. Too many times that wasn’t true over the years.

This was a good effort by ND and showed an effective game plan from the Irish coaching staff.
The offense was all over Miami in the 1st half, leveraging obvious mismatches with Floyd and Eifert. On defense, it was almost as if Bob Diaco knew their passing play calls.
A bit of a let down in the 2nd half, an eerie number of injuries to key players (Rees, Teo, Floyd, Hughes), and I’m disappointed for Ruffer that he didn’t finish his season perfect. All the same, the total effort shows that ND used the extra practices to their advantage and that bodes well for 2011 and beyond under Kelly.

Don’t forget to include Ruffer in your list of key injuries. Injured himself on the kickoff, which I’m sure impacted his missed field goal. Note that Tausch was in there at the end, and I’m sure it’s not just because Kelly’s walk-on kicker missed the first field goal of his career. You could see Ruffer land awkwardly on the last kickoff before the field goal he missed. It’s too bad, really. I was pulling for him to finish 100%, especially after he squeaked in the 50-yarder and then made the extra-point-length one.
All around a great win for a program looking to carry some momentum into next year. Go Irish! Happy New Year everyone!

Just got back from the game and when i get warmed back up(toes went numb a few times) im gonna get some brew to celebrate this one. Go Irish!!!
Man, Harris sucked something awful today, didnt he? And morris, in true Thug U form, was taunting the ND sideline after his long TD pass. No doubt, Mia is still filled with losers and thugs. I saw two Mia fabs escorted out of the stad, one of them involved a big fight that got the sherriffs involved.

Folks, did I tell you that this defense would be huge today. I just did not think that the offense would be so amazing. Floyd, GOD wants you to stay one more year.

Might have been a close game had ND had more quality athletes to match up with the U…hee hee hee.
Good to see all that speed has the SEC off to an 0-3 start, The Big# should help them out today.

Agreed. I think we were about 3 plays from a Gator/Cotton Bowl level this year and with the increased experience and health we will get back to that level either way. Floyd makes us extremely dangerous and Rudy makes us very balanced.
