Their 'standouts' are getting arrested, or known for sticking around for 1 more year to take ballroom dancing.
Ours is the only guy doing Law School and starting on the OL: Mr. Chris Stewart.
He got a nice little writeup in USA TODAY and it's worth checking out, simply because it's nice to have a kid recognized for something good in college football once in a while. Amidst all the Urban arrests and the shady agent dealings and Reggie Bush taking free houses and never apologizing, it's nice to see it done the right way.
Well done, Chris.

“a protein shake, a nectarine, rice cakes with peanut butter.”
- that’s a small meal to Stewart. Or, for me, 3 things I’ve not eaten in the last year, and one condiment.

yeah, right, Peanut Butter is probably 30% of your diet.

A small meal for Stewart would probably keep me going for a whole day.

I love reading articles like this…especially considering how close he was to transferring his Soph year…I can’t even begin to fathom how hectic his day is physically/mentally…major, major kudos to Mr. Chris Stewart and best wishes on his path…so glad he came back and will finish his career at ND…total class act…

Since I TiVo-watch the games (catch up at the end) so far this year, does anyone know if this has been featured on NBC during the broadcast?
I can imagine some high schooler seeing that and going “whoa, I can get into law school at ND?” Huge recruiting tool.

they “mentioned” it in the first game i think, but they have not done a feature on it because it is….NBC after all and they have to get their kissing michigan and purdue’s asses segments in. you know, cause they don’t have their own network or anything and heaven forbid they show any bias towards Notre Dame.
