There's no one left in the Michigan backfield.
So get Crist tossing that ball deep, pressure the heck out of the CBs and Safeties, run them all over the field, and do it often. Abuse the remaining guys, because there's literally no one behind them.

In HS, we played a team that had no business playing us. They had an entire roster playing both sides of the ball. Their starting TB and QB were also their starting corners. So we platooned guys in a WR, running Go routes on the first 12 offensive plays we had. No kidding. And we did it in a hurry-up fashion.
It was mean, and I still feel sort of bad about it, but we won 63-0.

Although the depth chart is bad, it is not that bad. This chart is missing the true FR in the two deep for some reason.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity then to throw a few up to Michael Floyd and let him go get them and to send Rudolph over the middle.

Dtk, reread what you just wrote and then laugh at yourself, smack yourself inthe face for saying something so stupid, and then go to the kitchen and pour yourself a MindEraser so you wont have to watch the absolute destruction about to befall your beloved Skunks.

I have to say, you are really bringing the trash talk to new levels this week. I hope to hell ND backs it up, because DTK will obliterate you if they don’t.

Domer, I won’t need to. At this point if UM beats ND, we’ll never hear from Trey again. We’ll only about some anonymous stalker arrested outside Brian Kelly’s house, naked, smeared with Wolverine feces, screaming “throw it to Floyd”.

You obviously havent been reading the SB news. I did that to Weis last year. Just insert ‘Tate’ for ‘Floyd’ and it fits.
Mq, outside of the usual unbridled hatred i have for scUM, i think you & the natl media inflamed it with all of the laurels being lain at Shoelaceless’ feet.

There are times when I wish I were a betting man. This is going to be a blowout. Somethings wrong if it isn’t.
Velcro is going to have to stay in the pocket and take a couple of licks as ND pulls away. KLM – Tattoo time!

You do know that there are guys on the actual depth chart behind the starters, right? They are true freshman, of course, but they might actually be decent (we are likely to find out in two days). This doesn’t change the logic of the post, of course — ND is crazy not to go after them. But I still don’t think Michigan will win in a blow out, as you suggest. I think the Wolverines will only pull out a fairly close game, after its O-line makes mincemeat of the Irish defensive front and Denard runs for another 190 yards.

Seriously we were worried that we only had 8 or 9 db’s to start the season. You have five. If they aren’t on the 2deep, what does that tell you? And, your secondary is very inexperienced. I’ll be shocked if ND does not take advantage of this in a Big way.

aaaaaand, this is Game 2. wonder how this backfield will look by Game 7 or 10. with very few guys playing every down and running all over the place, could be even worse by then.

This is the same reason for the comment I made to DTK, so you should read my response to him and follow suit. Listen to what you’re saying…youre relying on true FRESHMEN to be your savior? Like NL said…good luck with that one. Even if 2 of the 3 starting frosh are superstars, wouldnt that ONE who isnt really worry you? In a normal situation, a coach would quickly replace that guy so the opposing team doesnt over exploit that guy. Mich wont have that luxury. Even if your 1-gm vets can lock down our rec weapons, youre toast if Kelly finds a single chink in the armor.

When Crist throws it up to Floyd which frosh are you going to send to look stupid trying to defend it?
If we don’t exploit your weakness in the secondary, it’ll be more a problem of us than you.

Much like if Dayne Crist were to go down(please no), you would have to put the blame on the poor job of recruiting and planning Weis did. No way a program of ND’s stature should be in this situation.
Michigan(sucks) situation is ridiculous. 5dbs yikes!
