Tragedy and the Death of Tradition at Notre Dame

That's right. Another sacred tradition has been ended at Notre Dame. Bigger than the Disney-fication of the Pep Rallies. More terrible than the ending of the SYR. More horrible than going 6-6 last year. YES! I say it! I reveal the dastardly deeds of an administration run AMOK!!!

More terrible and gruesome than all of these is the death of the quarter dogs!

Quarter Dogs have been an ND staple for years. I remember my first trek to LaFun with $2 for 4 Quarter Dogs and a bag of Fritos. That is some good solid nutrition there folks.

Loved the name, loved the convenience. But somebody somewhere decided that they needed another 8 cents per dog, which means we lose the name, the myth, the legend all in one fail inflation (despite that we're in a deflationary period) driven move.

A 33 Cent Dog? A buck ONLY gets me 3 DOGS?!?!?!!?!? WHA?

If the football players get a training table, the rest of us drunks should get hot dogs for a quarter late night!

Storm the administration building, picket the dome, rise up and fight for what is right!!!!!!!!!!!!!

33 Cents! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Unabashed Notre Dame fan. Always right. Including when stating that you're wrong.
