Agreed. A SMU penalty is what is needed here. If not, U$C will be in front of the infractions committee in short order. They completely do not understand that it should not be acceptable to cheat and these clowns are repeat offenders. Three strikes and you are out in Cali.
College football will do fine without their cheating ways. The PAC-10 will probably get stronger due to the suspension of a team that believes the rules do not apply to them.
Take the skunkbears for example. They cheated and admitted so, cooperating fully with the NCAA investigation. What does U$C do… stonewall, tell individuals close to the investigation not to cooperate and talk to the NCAA. U$C is now threatening to appeal/sue the NCAA. This university does not get it when it comes to abiding by the rules all are expected to follow.
Bring the sledgehammer please!
