The Liar Strikes Again
The Biscuit
How many times can this happen before someone, anyone, actually catches on?
Urban Liar is back at it again. This time, he brings in a guy to be DC for the recruiting season, has that guy recruit a ton, and then (JUST COINCIDENTALLY NOW) the guy leaves the DAY AFTER SIGNING DAY. The day UF signs one of the top defensive classes in the country.
“C’mon kid, we have an NFL-level coach as D-coordinator. You get along great with him. He can’t wait to coach you and teach you what you need to make it to the pros.”
“Okay, coach, I’m in”
“Oh, sorry, he just left for the NFL again. Really, total surprise to me. Had no idea this would happen.”
This is exactly what happened with Hunter and Mattison. Why does anyone, anywhere, ever trust Urban Meyer?

Not sure how much of an impact Edwards had in recruiting at UF in just one month. Although, this whole leave of absence is just taking the BS to another level.
While we are on the discussion of suspicious timing of a coaching change, did you see where Boise State’s DC announced he was leaving for Tennessee on National Signing Day?
Hey guys, i realize i should put this in the sbux, but it’s not very iphone friendly…
But did yall see kiffykins recruited a 13-yr old? Isnt that a bit illegal?
Look, when God comes to you in a dream and tells you to make a temporary two-month hire just to boost your ludicrous defensive coup what are you supposed to do? Disobey God? Come on.
Josh, the issue with the UF DC is that it’s pretty darn clear that the guy was just filling in a space, allowing Urban Meyer to avoid all the questions about “who’s the DC!?” from the recruits. And then once his real job was done, the guy split for Buffalo for a new one. It’s quite different from the BSU/Tennessee issue, although I don’t really love that one either. It’s just that the UF thing is far more nefarious.
