This is why I come here and BGS and Rakes and do not EVER go to NDNation. It’s one thing to raise an eyebrow that we offered a kid who had one other offer from a 4th Tier school, but if you don’t get that this recruiting cycle is a filler and is no basis to judge anything, you’re a sad, sad, sad individual.

Agree with all except certain profanities (which I may add that I also express in private but I’m not proud of it).

These so called fans need to do some research on Kelly before they crucify both he and his recruiting.

I have lived near GR,MI for 30 years (its not easy with all these uM[sucks] fanatics).

Kelly literally dominated DIV II CBF while he was here, with two NC’s. Before any of you fanatics start ranting it’s only DIV II have to remember that he built Grand Valley into a Dynasty of sorts with players going to the NFL and assistants becoming successful HC’s.

None of us know what will happen over the next 3-5 years but I am optimistic. I also know Kelly has proven to be a much better HC than any of the fanatics out there, including me.

Nice post! These fanatics do service to “Her Lady” with all their venting.

I am just as proud of the student athlete’s in all sports earning a degree and embarking on a path that will bring positive impressions back to ND!!

Sir, take it easy, try living in Alabama where football season is 12 months out of the year. Fans are like trees, if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there, is it heard, does anyone care. If there is a football game and no fans show up or watch, does it matter or does anyone care. Fans are fanatics and the love they have for their teams is crazy, but they really do keep the rivalries alive and make watching college football and all college sports fun to watch. Hell, I think pro sports are boring compared to college and mainly due to the fans. They’re not perfect and may not live up to your standards of what fans should be like, but none the less, they’re a riot to watch and they do make the game better.
