I just looked outside. It's not armageddon. I just called Bo, and he said that Hell hasn't frozen over yet...so I'm not sure what's going on...
But in the end, there are a lot of fools out there. And sometimes they get called out by even bigger fools. And I have to acknowledge it when it happens.

Note: What I'm agreeing with here is the mocking of the extremely ridiculous assertions that some ND fans make, with a complete lack of facts to back them up. There's a certain group out there that insists that they 'know' everything, and they insist they can comment intelligently on things about which they know not a thing. And they look stupid. I don't agree with Cook that a coach like Stoops or Saban or Meyer just wouldn't come to South Bend (I love how Cook acts like Ann Arbor is some paradise - HA, suburb of DE-TROIT) - I believe they would in a moment with the right situation and mutual interest - but I do agree with his mocking some ND fans for their ridiculous comments. That is quite deserved. But note: Michigan (sucks) fans are at least 10 times worse. Regularly. Daily. Minute-ly? Yes.

yes, brian cook makes a good point about the delusional ND fan, but going to ND nation to fish for posts is too easy. touting your restraint during this coaching search is fine, but linking yourself to this assclown is a bit much (even if it was tongue-in-cheek).
full disclosure – i wrote this comment before reading the “Note” in the end, in which case i offer applause. for the sake of original commentary though, i kept the comment unedited above.

no worries bud. Cook is a giant d-bag, now and always. and his trolling is weak, as you point out. couldnt agree more. we could do the same daily on UM sites and just mock Michigan fans non-stop and forever. their boards are much worse than anything on NDN or anywhere else. but his point is right on (as much as i hate to admit it) – some ND fans are completely clueless, and it often makes me sick to think that people (not Cook, I mean real people) think of that as representative of the ND population. so i felt it worth a post – mostly because i couldnt believe i agreed with him. on anything. ever.
