This actually is worthwhile. HLS is fairly credible, and by saying that no one will know until the press release is significant because hopefully it will cut down on the amount of useless banter. Everyone knows somebody whose cousin works in Athletics, I get it. Just wait for the white smoke.

Patience. I have faith that swarbrick will conduct a proper search and we will soon get a compatible coach. I’ve seen this happen so many times at ND over the years, and there have been a lot of bungled hires, going back to Terry Brennan.

Hopefully ND will announce a new coach, Kelly?, by Sunday and also a bowl game, GMAC?. The new coach could coach ND in the bowl, GMAC is Jan. 6th, which gives some time for the new coach to coach Jimmy C. and Golden T. and maybe convince them to return next year. Though the opponent is a MAC team, a big win on national TV with a new coach would benefit our recruiting.

And the laugher is that you’re essentially accusing us of manipulating ND fans for clicks when, in fact, we’re informing them far more than any “Coach X will be the next HC at ND” stories out there. Nobody knows anything. That’s the point we’re trying to make. We’re just trying to spread that fact among the populace.
