Louis Nix chooses Notre Dame over Florida, Miami, LSU, The Skunkbears, and others the week that ND FIRES IT’S COACH? This kid rules!
When other guys waver, he signs up. When others question, he’s certain. When some players get nervous, Louis Nix gets settled.
I don’t care what happens with Nix over the next few years. Whether he’s a class-A stud starter, or a career backup (very unlikely), Nix is now my #1 favorite ND player. This is what I’m talking about folks!
And let’s not forget Alford here. His boss gets fired, he has no clue where he’ll be in 6 months, and he walks into Louis Nix’s living room and tells the family it doesn’t matter who the coach is, it doesn’t matter where he personally ends up – ND is the right place for the kid. JUST. FREAKING. AWESOME.
Note to future ND coach: HIRE TONY ALFORD.
