I’m on the fence about Ianello. He’s obviously outstanding as a recruiting coordinator, but he seems to be very hit-or-miss with regard to how receivers develop on his watch (and there are some notable critics of his players’ technique).

With respect to Floyd, I get the distinct impression that he was pretty much a finished product when he got here. The guys Ianello can point to developing on his watch are Samardzija, Stovall, and Tate.

I also would like to see Bryant Young retained (ND Alum and AA and A Pro)
Alford did a pretty good job with the running backs too.

I REALLY hope that whoever comes in keeps Ianello on the staff. The guy is a great recruiter, and Floyd and Tate’s development has been awesome (though still room for improvement for Tate).
