After the play was dead, Spikes got busy trying to gouge the dude’s eyes out. Absolutely cowardly. Could only have been worse had he then bit the dude in the balls.
Davieham, I’ve noted. Hate to admit it, but I think I’ve forgotten to make picks since week 2. Something about it being on Yahoo, I think. It’s tied to my yahoo e-mail acct. Do people still use yahoo e-mail?

I cant tell if this was really intentional or if he thought he was reaching in to get the ball. If it WAS intentional, this guy is a scumbag of the lowest order.
thanks for the update. I guess we can rest assured that Brandon Spikes will learn his lesson because of Urban’s punishment, missing a half against (drum roll please!!!!)……VANDY!!! WHOA, Urbie, take it easy! Maybe he’ll write I will keep my hands to myself 50x too!! Poor kid. Florida’s high standards of ethical behavior and tough discipline must make it difficult for kids to be kids!
Personally, I think this should count as arrest #25 for Urban. He didn’t actually get arrested, but that’s assault. Count it. Way to go Urban, you scumbag.

If I have to see more about how great the SEC is every week I might just pay Spikes to gouge my own eyes.

“Coach Urban Meyer suspended Spikes on Monday, two days after the defensive captain apparently attempted to gouge the eyes of Georgia running back Washaun Ealey in a 41-17 victory.”
The punishment is laughable. It’s like watching a parent tell a kid he can’t have a lemon lollipop because he was bad. But here, honey, have a cherry one.
If Urban Meyer is ever the HC at ND, I’m done with ND football. I’ve been thinking about it ever since the “dream job” crap from Meyer, and I’m finally there. If ND ever hires Urb, then I’m done donating forever, and I’m done following the team.

The suspension is only for the first half of the next game. What a joke! At a minimum, Spikes should be done for the season. And yes, he should be charged with assault. Great coaching Urban.
