I sat down to watch it with my then-fiance. And to be honest, very little was different from the normal pre-game ceremonies. But what does that say about our program when our NORMAL pre-game ceremony to honor America requires so little embellishment to make it special and really say something about our country at a time of need? It says the world. And that's why Notre Dame is special. I’m going to take this a step further and look at the first ND game AFTER 9/11. I sat down to watch it with my then-fiance.
