Pretty cool situation for the kid, and a great one for the Irish. Provides depth, experience, and a bit of a safety net as QB recruiting hasn’t gone quite to plan this year. I personally dont think that’s too too big of a deal, so long as we sign 1 decent propsect and get an all-world recruit in the 2011 class, but it’s a big enough deal to be fired up about this development.  Â
And a quick hat-tip to Weis, who was smart enough to get the paperwork squared away way back when, just in case. Well, in case is here. That was smart.
