One-time ND recruit Jonathan Baldwin was recently slapped (pun intended) with an Indecent Assault charge and is in the process of being spanked (again) by the law. Baldwin was a big-time recruit, and played pretty well last year in his freshman season, hauling in ~20 passes for ~400 yards at Pitt.
The 'stache has a choice to make now. He can either actually punish the kid, or he can do what most coaches (coughcoughUrbancouchMeyer) do, and suspend him for 1-2 games that don't matter at all.
My guess? Baldwin will be 'punished' by being suspended from practice for a bit this summer (oh, no coach, don't let me out of those gassers!) and will miss Pitt's home opener against (GASP!) Youngstown State and the game at Buffalo (maybe). That will be it. It will be weak.
It will be typical.
It will be sad.

How do you think you would react if Charlie was unsuccessful again, and Notre Dame hired Urban? It would be very interesting to see what fan base would do in that situation, since everyone’s been ripping on him.
