This evening we got word that Mike Frank, formerly of Irish Eyes, the Scout.com Notre Dame affiliate, moved on and began a brand new Notre Dame Sports site: Irish Sport Daily.
There are a few reasons we decided to give Mike some free pub: 1) We started HerLoyalSons.com to be wise asses to try and improve the dialogue regarding Notre Dame football, and we feel like Mike Frank's work also improves the dialogue. 2) We like the way Mike does his work, particularly regarding recruiting. He stays above-board in a world that doesn't make it very easy to do so. 3) Mike is very much a member of the "Notre Dame community," having hosted countless tailgates for subscribers and anyone else who happens to stumble by, provided an excellent podcast to anyone with an internet connection, etc... And 4) Mike's done us a favor or two in the past.
