I think you're right about Tate. He seems to get overlooked a little by ND fans that are so high on Floyd (and Floyd deserves the praise). I haven't paid close attention, but I'd be curious to know if teams put their best cover corner on Tate or Floyd. As much as Tate struggled without Floyd, I would guess that Floyd benefitted early from teams keying on Tate.
