I think Clausen had gotten a little spoiled when it seemed like every time Floyd or Tate was one-on-one with a DB, they would come down with the ball. That's been my biggest disappointment about jimmy clausen to this point. He looks for that fade rather than keeping to the offense and picking up small chunks of yardage to the endzone. I was at the game, not sitting in the ND section, and I actually felt a little guilty cheering loudly for the Irish. I tended to just respectfully applaud when ND did something good. The level of embarrassment and cynicism that was flowing from UW fans was really overwhelming. I felt bad for them. About the time that UW had an illegal substitution penalty after a timeout I felt like I was having a flashback and I was actually anxious for the game to end quickly for their sake and mine. That program is a mess. It's a shame that the u-dub leadership didn't see the writing on the mofo-ing Irish Wall when we spelled it out to them. Dude, speak for yourself.
