Friday Roundup: The “Haiku Free” Edition

domer.mq

Ever notice, as you’re reading various blogs, particularly by bloggers who think themselves particularly clever, that they rely on the haiku as a blogging crutch whenever some truly creative idea fails to come to mind. This seems especially true of “regular feature” posts. You know, some guy will write a post as part of a regular feature and then call it, “The Haiku Edition,” and then do the entire post in haiku.

Well that wont happen here!

The Roundup:

The beer of this week is Capital Brewery’s Autumnal Fire from Wisconsin because I like the name. Haven’t tried it, but I just liked the name, so I bought some and I will enjoy it over the weekend. (Hopefully)

Also, we’ll do a bye-week gameday chat tomorrow, drop by to say hello throughout the day, maybe share some insight about whatever game you’re watching that the rest of us aren’t.

Yeah, DTK. Danielson is WAY ahead of his time. I don’t like the spread. I don’t want to see ND run it. But he’s insane if he thinks the spread isn’t effective.

Dude, got a new beer tonight: Red Seal Ale. It is FREAKING MONEY. The best new beer I’ve had in 2 years. Excellent (and very micro-west-coasty so you’ll probably never drink it. sad for you).

oh, and no chat for me until i get back from the bar around 8pm EST tomorrow. i will be crushing beers at a bar all day with some friends - since there’s no ND game, i dont need to care about anything so i can just go get hammered at a bar. PSU-UM should be fun. 786-4 will be a great game!
