Sounds like Cierre got a little excited about some special treatment at some other schools.   Course, it sounds fun.  And if I was 18 and a highly sought recruit, I might be tempted as well.  But, either Charlie and Cierre had a chat, or Cierre realized how this looks, because he clarified things:

“I’m not going to take any trips outside the Notre Dame trip,” Wood said by cell phone. “I’m so committed to Notre Dame there’s no reason to visit other schools.”

Well done Cierre.  I get both thoughts, but this latest one is the right one.
