How about this, UM wins and you have to do a post of a serious nature comparing UM’s and ND’s perfomance against MSU since 1997. There is to be no sarcasm and no reference to UM sucking.
If MSU wins, I will donate $25 to Weis’ charity in your blog’s name.

DTK, I’ll take MSU over UM straight up in a gentleman’s bet. If I win, I won’t say UM sucks for a whole month. If you win, you will refer to your coach as Head Dick for that same month. (or some other lame terms – point is, I think you guys will be getting smoked).

I guess it would take an ND blog to appreciat the sleeping giant in East Lansing. Guys, seriously, do not be fooled by MSU’s recent success against ND. This is a program that has a definite ceiling and that is as an occasionally fringe top 20 team. I don’t doubt Dantonio can get them there but this is not the year.

And yes, it may be a rough year for UM but I don’t think MSU has it in them to win at UM. If it were at MSU, maybe a different story.

doesnt really matter much though. it’s not like it’s gotten any more/less accurate. pre-season polls are complete BS – ours included. i dont think anyone should be ranked until week 3, in any way shape or form. so, f it, VT is perfectly placed.
