Put Some Eifert Into It!

In 2 days, the Irish land 2 commitments.  On the heels of some great Tight End recruiting coups, ND pulled in Fort Wayne native Tyler Eifert today.

Eifert is a bit of an unknown, since he was only offered 5 days ago by C-dub and Company.   He's slotted as an Athlete on the ND recruiting depth chart currently, and could really end up playing anywhere - Tight End, Safety (though less likely), OLB, Possession WR, etc.  Tyler is rated as a 3-Star on both services and ranked #17 and #23 among TE's.  He has a solid frame at 6'6", 220 and will play TE and Safety this fall for Bishop Dwenger (John Goodman's high school alma mater) which can only help him improve his athleticism and speed.

Overall, Tyler is a solid get for this year's class.  He has a lot of range and flexibility, and great size - and given the recent TE hauls, that's a very good thing.

Congrats Tyler, and welcome to the ND Family!
