Late, late roundup today. Been busy all week, really, and had stuff that just had to get done for which I get paid and which I do not wish to do over the weekend.

The Roundup:

• I’m putting this on every sandwich I eat this week. Farewell, chances of living to 40.
• Yeah, this has a lot to do with why we (meaning HLS) fired White long ago.
• For those of you who think John Paxson is ready for the ND AD Job, might want to take a look at the latest bit of news on his current coaching search.
• We totally dropped the ball on this story, so just imagine us reacting in exactly the way you’d expect us to have reacted had said ball not been dropped.
• SMQ wants us (someone? anyone?) to account for Black Swans in our team rankings. Does Phil Steele account for Black Swans?
• I’m getting really tempted to start a beer of the week here at HLS to give me more of an excuse. My BOTW this week? Michelada. It’s hotter than Jessica Alba sitting on the surface of the sun, so just trust me and make these. But if you use anything other than Negro Modello for the beer, you suck an unending hymn of suckage.
