Fraud-riguez.

A tangent to start off a conversation isn’t the best way to go, but I’m going there anyway:  Rich Rodriguez was the best hire ever from an ND blog perspective - simply because of the ungodly number of easy easy easy nicknames that come with his name.   What were his parents THINKING?  They set him up for a lifetime of mockery.

Dick.

Dicky.  Rod.  Dick Rod.  Rich Fraud.  Fraud-riguez….and on and on…tangent over.  Back to the point:

Mr. Fraud-riguez is claiming fraud.  And some foolish judge is actually going to hear it.

Listen, Dick, I’m going to give you a quick lesson on the law and contracts.  And note: I am no freaking lawyer.  Not even remotely close.  I don’t have and have never had a lawyer.  Yet I know this, and you don’t.  That makes no sense.  And I know you have lawyers and accountants and friends and family and EVERYONE IN THE WORLD THAT IS SOMEWHAT LOGICAL (this leaves out Brian at MGo and every other scUM fan, for the most part)  that told you this same thing, but here you go:

You signed a contract that says you would pay $4M if you left early.

You left early.

You now have to pay.

What’s your argument here?  “Oh no, whoa is the Dick!  Even though I have a team of lawyers and and an accountant and I read and re-read and SIGNED the contract, I figured the contract didn’t MEAN anything.  I mean, I changed my mind!  So it doesn’t apply anymore right?  And, we chatted about it later!  They said that it would change, they did!  Really.  What, proof?  Ummm, no, none of that.   No, no!  I know they SAY we didn’t talk about it, but we did….”

By Dicky Rod’s logic, WVU could now claim that they talked to Rich afterwards and agreed to INCREASE the buyout to $6, $8, $10M.  I mean, why not, right Dick?  If it’s word vs word, anything could’ve happened.

Hence, the invention of the contract.

Not only are you a Dick, Dick.  You’re also a moron.  You will lose badly, so save yourself the lawyer fees and give it up.

PS - I hope WVU makes Rich Fraud pay for their lawyers too - that’d be fun!  To watch Dicky lose for 2 years and knowing that ALL his pay would be going to the school he spurned in the middle of the night would be sweet, sweet karma.
