Corwin took a porous defense last year that was, compared to the O's it was facing, relatively weak in the talent dept. and turned in a solid performance last year. Not great, but solid being a Top 40 overall D. And GREAT against the pass - which no team since the Holtz era could claim. Charlie noticed that and applauded Brown's direction, tact and talent. This hire is in no way a diss to Brown - no titles are changing anywhere in the program and it's STILL Corwin's D. It's just now Corwin's D with some serious freaking blitzing coming in your faces!
