Dana Jacobson to be Excommunicated
domer.mq

Barbaro in the news. Again.
UPDATE 2: The story is being confirmed/uncomfirmed.
UPDATE: Please try to keep in mind that the story below is based on hearsay and that the “facts” are only alleged to be “facts” by a tipster to Deadspin.com. And as such, these “facts” should probably be taken with a grain of salt. There’s far too much holier-than-thou vitriol spreading on various ND message boards about this story. Take it for what it is: A story that, if true, just proves that Dana Jacobson has an alcohol problem, very poor judgment, and a horse-face. Nothing more. Just enjoy it for what it probably is: A dumb Michigan (sucks!) grad doing something stupid. If we want to throw around some moral outrage, let’s focus it on someone who verifiably deserves it.
**************************
Dana Jacobson, world famous television personality and host of mega-hit morning sports talk show “Cold Pizza” “First Take” on ESPN allegedly used her equine jaw to spit out some choice words about Notre Dame and a certain someone whom I like to call “Jesus” at the Mike and Mike Roast last week. (Which, listening to Mike and Mike the next day, one couldn’t help but notice nobody really seemed to want to talk about on air.) Please note she was saying this in front of Charlie Weis who was in attendance.:
…nothing yet from the Jacobson camp yet; we imagine that video being locked away somewhere deep in the bowels of Bristol HQ. A tipster who was there gives us a slight rundown, however:
. try THIS on for size….among her drunken statements made from the dais….(with Charlie Weis in attendance)….
“f… Notre dame”
“f….touchdown Jesus”
and - the step-aside-because-lightning-is-about-to-strike… “f…. Jesus.”
Dana Jacobson, reminding us that Michigan (sucks!) women will do really stupid things when you get them drunk! (In case you’ve forgotten your experiences in Ann Arbor for away games.)

The Irish won’t have to play the Wolverines in Ann Arbor, this year! That’s a plus, because of the IRISH student body. They’re the best..
I guess Dana is a Catholic. Nothing wrong with that!! THE POPE LIKES ND!! & WIESBIER!! & Catholics!!
CORRECTION: Let me say Weizenbier/ or Hefe-Weizen. Cardinal Josef Ratzinger, became Papst Benedikt XVI, & in Germany is known as Pappa Ratzi.
So far I have found three Blogs mentioning this. I think we owe it to ourselves to keep hammering at this topic so it doesn’t fade away. Keep bumping it and sooner or later ESPN will have to acknowledge it.
This …person is no kind of lady.To call her a lady would be like giving the medal of honner to everyone who makes it through Boot Camp.I found the whole thing tasteless to be honnest and I was sorry to see Mike G. even participate.
Jacobson is not Catholic. She’s Jewish. That’s even more reason to be disgusted by her vile comments. She’s just using “Notre Dame” as cover for her own personal bigotry.
I’m not suprised that the Mikes did the roast since it was for charity. I am suprised that Jacobson’s routine wasn’t planned — I think ESPN blew that one. She had the responsibility to stay sober, but ESPN had to make sure nothing went wrong. I think they share the blame.
isn’t dana a ND alum? I thought I read an article that she was at the USC game because she likes to go back at least once a year to a game and take her parents.
matt,
No. You’re confusing her with Hannah Storm.

I watch her on ESPN and know he’s overly exuberant on matters regarding college rivalries. This may make her a sports bigot but not necessarily a religious bigot. She needed to tone it down anyway. This time off will hopefully help get her head straight.
It was a roast everybody. That’s what happens at those things. Religion, race, sex, and anything else is fair game. It’s all done out of respect. By the way, Dana graduated from Michigan.
Hey, now, she did issue an apology for what she termed the “stupid” bigoted comments that ESPN has suspended her for and said the comments certainly did not represent her views or reflect who she was personally. Then she said something like it was all a vast “Papist conspiracy” against her and then vowed revenge upon that “bunch of f—ing, drunken, unemployed, potato-gobbling micks” who smeared her good name as soon as she gets finished helping her friend Kelly Tighman lynch a few blacks who besmirched Tilghman’s name a few weeks back. Sounds contrite enough to me.
By the way, do any of you think Jacobson or Tilghman would have been just suspended if they had been men rather than somewhat attractive white women? Don Imus, Roy Campanella and Jimmy “The Greek” Snyder don’t think so. Also Dana J is not only a Michigan grad, she is also a former wolverine basketball player.
