Well, we, as well as you, and probably everyone else, have been hearing rumors that ND Nose Tackle, Pat Kuntz wasn’t going to be enrolling at Notre Dame for the Spring 2008 semester. And now it’s been confirmed. However, we and everyone else hold out hope that Pat can make it back to ND in time for the Fall 08 semester:

“No matter what I’m going to be back there. I’m going to have one more year to play and I’m going to graduate from Notre Dame,” said Kuntz, who is majoring in sociology.

I had the enormous pleasure of meeting Pat’s grandmother right before the Navy game this fall. I don’t think I’d ever met a grandmother more proud than she. I have a feeling Pat will get lots of support at home. Good luck, Pat. We’ll see you back at ND Stadium soon.
