As a true freshman, and with many fewer minutes he got almost as many tackles as Kuntz. Kuntz deserves all the credit int he world for playing out of position and undersized but Ian frankly looks every bit as good from day one. Kudos to him, and he is going to anchor that spot for years to come - it isn't a glamorous spot but he has what it takes to be the best. In the future, additional recognitions will be forthcoming to other members of the Freshmen and Sophomores from the 2007 team. They paid their dues.
