Random thoughts about Omar’s departure:
1. I am glad CW kept his word and had already started looking at other talent.
2. ND will replace Omar with a talented player.
3. Omar is making a terrible decision.
4. Urban “Liar” “Liar” is accurate. He is a real low-life.
5. As mentioned, Omar’s grasp of the geography of the U.S. is limited. The USC mentioned is Poddle country.
6. It will be fun to watch Liar Liar and the Poddle duke it out for Omar.

It’s a shame we lost Omar, he would’ve been a great fit. But it did seem like he rushed into things back in the summer. Unlike the other guys in the class, it seemed like a 180 out of nowhere without much deliberation. I think he’s made a bad choice for his future (and of course I wanted him for selfish reasons as well), and I hope it doesn’t come back to hurt him. But we had the #1 class without him, and we still do. I am sure C-dub has some other guys he can ‘reignite’ in terms of recruiting. Don’t be surprised if we pick up another guy to fill Omar’s slot…

I know that, but that’s not the USC that he’s talking about from what the recruiting services say.
