I've followed ND football since the 40's, but this year is like nothing I've ever seen. Saddest thing today was to see former recruits Martez Wilson & Aurrelious Benn work their magic for Illinois over Wisc. Wilson was an animal on defense, Benn was a great deep threat. N'western beat MSU and scored 48 points. We can't even get an offensive TD. Depressing I don’t know. I’ve followed ND football since the 40′s, but this year is like nothing I’ve ever seen.

And I think it will because these kids know better than we do what an opportunity this is. To be the team that turns around ND football. Legendary. But, if it doesnt largely hold together we will have 2 great classes and a good class. Much better to have 3 great classes, which will lead to a 4th, and then you're stacked across the board. I think we'll keep the #1 class in the country, and I think we'll build on that next year with another. Then, oh good lord, ya'll better watch out. I am assuming it will.
