A jury decided against Coach Weis in his malpractice suit against 2 doctors he felt had botched a procedure that nearly left him dead when complications arose.
I don't actually know enough specifics to have any opinion on the decision. Frankly (and speaking selfishly), I'm just glad that it's over with, so it wont serve as any sort of distraction for Coach Weis during the season.

I’m told that over 85% of malpractice cases are decided in favpr of the doctors and/or hospitals. Fogeddaboudit.

yeah, he never had a shot. tough to get a jury to find against a doctor. they save the world and all. especially when you’re a rich head coach that didn’t die and you work for a school where 75% of the jury likely grew up hating it. uphill battle all the way.

I’m hearing some reliable information that Weis’ case was flimsy, at best. I guess I’m not too surprised.
