Looks like Clausen had a procedure done on his elbow. But there’s no reason to panic. A) We’ve got 2, maybe 3 other very talented QBs on the roster, and B) Clausen is expected to be ready to play by fall camp. C) Weis hasn’t annointed Clausen or anyone as the starter at this point. For all we know, it could be me. Excuse me, I’ve got some wind sprinting to do.

UPDATE: We’ve confirmed with our sources that Weis will not let any current or former member of the Cubs pitching coaching staff anywhere near Clausen. Expect 1000 yard restraining orders to be granted by Indiana courts within the next few hours.
