Massive Defensive Lineman, Omar Hunter of Bufford Georgia has picked Notre Dame over Michigan today. We’re still looking for a link from an “official” as in “paid for this stuff” site, but trust us, it’s true.
Ah. Here’s one. It’s for the subscribers of Irish Eyes, but the headline is hysterical. Heh.
This is a major coup for Notre Dame. A) Omar was reported to be a heavy Michigan lean at some point. B) Notre Dame isn’t actually supposed to be able to recruit top-flight defensive tackles. It’s written down somewhere - a rule intended to keep things fair between Notre Dame and the rest of the world. Omar definitely tips the scales in ND’s favor.
