Charlie Gets No. 12. Urban Meyer: What the &%^$ is going on?

Charlie landed another stud recruit this week in Offensive Guard Lane Clelland of Owing Mills, Maryland.
Lane is a 4-Star recruit according to Scout and helps fill in another of important OL spot, and one at which Charlie loves to keep depth.
The Irish beat out the likes of Michigan, FSU and Florida for Lane’s services. Given that C-Dub has plucked a few players out from under Mr. Meyer already this year (Lane and Braxton Cave), UF’s head coach must be sitting back wondering what the F is going on.
He’s got the national championship under his belt, and yet his class of 2008 recruiting is a huge 1 player at this point. I’m sure he’s not worried (he’s Urban Meyer for God’s sake, why would HE worry?), but he might want to start doing so. Texas is raking them in, ND isn’t far behind. I have a feeling that Urb is resting on his laurels a bit (What the hell’s a laurel? I will answer myself shortly.), and thinking that players will just come to him. To an extent, that will happen with any decent program. But to win these kids over, Urban, you have to work at it. You gotta want it.

Urban’s is under his ass right now. Which is about as cool as this dude in the picture above.
I think Charlie’s showing Urban up left and right. I think Mr. Meyer is a decent enough coach, and that that NC fell in his lap because of Ron Crooks amazing recruiting, and a string of lucky wins and a OSU team that crapped the bed.
And I think Urban better sack up, or it’s going to be a long recruiting year.

I think Urb’s just busy stroking his NC trophy right now. Besides, he’s just letting Charlie ID the right guys ahead of time so he can work on poaching later. Coffee is for closers!
Anyway, I’m thrilled with the commit. Very big get and a great addition to the family.
I live in fla and i agree that is amazing urban liar only has 1 committ. He ‘ll get a good class
because he will rake in alot from fla . There is alot of pressure on these kids to go to FL , THE U,or FREE shoes university. As you can tell i have no allegiance to any team in the state I live. I am looking forward to the next few years of Irish football when with Charlies hard work he keeps stockpiling the talent and we beat the florida and the USC ’s on the field cosistantly.
