Hafis Williams Is A Jersey Guy and a Notre Dame Man

If you head over to Irish Eyes right now, you’ll see that Hafis Williams, a stud Defensive Tackle and a Jersey Guy, has added himself to the quickly growing list of Notre Dame commits.

I can’t share paid content here, but if you’re a member of the site, read the story about the sequence of events that occurred during Hafis’ commitment to Charlie. I think you’ll find that this kid has his head on straight.

Welcome to the family, Hafis!

Being from Elizabeth, it gives me just an added incentive to root for the Irish.
Their coach is Carl Pavavecchio (sp) who played linebacker at Penn State. Great site always a chuckle to read.

I am so glad to see some productive defensive recruiting at ND. If you look at the projected depth chart, ND will be very young this year, but we have a lot of talent with a bright future.

I think Charlie Weis may have found a guy that is as passionate about and as hardwork at recruiting as he is: Corwin Brown.

I think you’re right. If CB is half as good as I think he is, he will likely ove on to a head coaching job in 2-4 years. In the meantime, I hope he builds recruiting pipelines and stockpiles some talent.
