Mistrial Declared in Weis Trial After Juror Collapses. “Denny Crane” Heard Being Yelled in Courtroom

We’re not saying the fix is on, but it looks like a juror rather conveniently collapsed in the Weis malpractice trial just a day before the case was to be handed over to the jury. Of course, we haven’t followed this thing at all, so we have no idea why this would be convenient to either party. We mostly just jump at any chance to use the image of Denny Crane on HLS.

This has to be the worst result if you are an Irish fan. This trial is a distraction to Coach Weis. A verdict was needed to put this in the past and move on to what matters most: winning football games. Now Weis will have to revisit the case again(hopefully during the offseason.)

The real question is, “Why the f@#$ was Joe Paterno allowed on the jury in the first place?”

I agree. I wish this would just go away. Not to be selfish, but I’m going to be selfish: it doesn’t help ND on the field due to distractions and it doesnt help ND in recruiting/image. Boo on the mistrial.

Yay for Kermit’s humor!
