A Christmas (Four) Star
Bad Kermit
Coach Weis slid down your chimney and left you a gift a little early this year, nabbing four-star safety Harrison Smith out of Knoxville Catholic. Welcome aboard, Harrison!

Also, please tell me they’re inflating SAT scores, because the 1850 he scored gives me grade envy.

1850! What’s the new scale?
Thank God. I think some recruit-niks were about to commit suppuku if we didn’t get another one “soon.” Recruiting is a brutal world.
Welcome aboard, Harrison!
new scale is out of 2400. So the score isn’t bad, but it’s not outstanding. For a football player, it’s pretty good.
Q, you’re on too many message boards. the only people in the world that freak out if 2 days go by w/o a recruit committing are on those boards. the recruits don’t care, the coaches don’t care, and neither should you. your vow to ignore recruiting has taken a 180 i think…
this class is on fire when you look at the talent across the board. and the poor kids that just chose Illinois over ND (or any other quality program) just sealed their own fate, not ND’s. there is a ton of talent coming already, and a ton more on the way. you know Charlie has this class on its way, and it will just keep getting better.
when you have a good program, school, coach and talent around you, it gets easier and easier to pull the trigger. don’t forget - if Chuck builds it, they will come.
There are 3 sections on the SAT: reading, writing, and math. Each are worth 800, as before.
There were only 2 sections when I took it. That’s why my grade sucked next to his! I swear!
Biscuit’s right about recruiting. ND’s future is indeed bright. We need to wrap up Chris Donald the LB from TN, he’s a 5 star.
Still can’t figure out what Ill. is putting in its Kool-Aid to have the class they’re getting.
