Apocalypse Now?

In the build up to the 2005 USC/Notre Dame football game, we heard a lot of hype: “Game for the Ages,” “One for the History Books,” and “Game of the Century” were thrown around in reference to the game before and after (at least until the National Championship Game). It was clear that this game was expected to be looked upon by history.
So it makes me chuckle every time I see the way the media has chosen to hype this weekend’s game between #1 Ohio State and #2 Michigan: “Football Apocalypse,” “War,” and “Judgement Day.”
I love the smell of couches in the morning.

This game is so exciting, it’s killing Bo Schembechler.
