Joe Pa will not be attending this week’s PSU game. He is, instead, heeding the advice of his doctors (read: shaman), and staying home (read: crypt).

Says Joe Pa:

“You guys know what you’re doing and what I want enough that I don’t need to be there creating a huge distraction Saturday.”

Soon after, a nurse went into his room to see who he was talking to as it was way beyond visiting hours. Turns out it was nobody.

Joe Pa also insists that, while he wont be there in person, he’ll be there “in spirit.” This confused several PSU boosters who didn’t understand how it would be any different from any other PSU game of the last 20 years.

In Spirit: Sorta like these guys, but inept.
