How Can Anyone Follow This?

I have been impressed with Brady Quinn’s play before, but how in the world he runs his offense with Weis calling the plays impresses me even more after watching some of the 60 Minutes clips.

Here is Weis calling a play.  Well, actually 3 plays and Quinn has to read which one to run based on the defensive coverage:

“I’m gonna run riot 35…then I’d like to go Z look go, if they pressure.  So heavy right flip, alert zip, riot 35 z look”.

Are you kidding me?  Quinn should win the Heisman just for knowing what the F that MEANS.

Tons of Weis clips are availabe on the Big 60 web site here:  http://60minutes.yahoo.com/segment/13/charlie_weis

Hey this guy who bloggs for NCAA Football is going to the ND vs. UNC game this weekend and wants to know the best things to do.

“But I need help folks! If you’ve been to South Bend, and even better, if you make the trip every weekend let me know where to go, what to see, what to eat! I am sure I can figure out my way around, and getting lost on the palatial campus would be fun for a while. I wouldn’t mind some landmarks to look out for though. So if there are any golden domers out there, or visiting fans who can appreciate the place, speak up. And if you plan on being near Touchdown Jesus this weekend as well, keep a look out for me.”
