Friday Roundup: The Phoenix Edition

We're back! And undeader than ever!

HLS: Like her, except hotter.

We had some technical difficulties (I didn't pay the bills), so our host shut us down early this morning. It wouldn't have been a problem had I known that it was time to renew the contract (I've actually owned this domain for 4 years), and had the credit card I used to buy the domain not expired 3 years ago, and had I not moved about 4 times since then, and had I still been using the e-mail account or phone number that the host company had on file...

But all is swell now, so let's see what's up in this big ole' interneted world o'ours...

  • The guys at BGS have a breakdown of how bad our defensive line depth will look next year (on the heels of the announcement that Talley has left the team). WARNING: Induces wimpering and crying among grown men. Might want to avoid until you're at home.
  • IRT has another ABC intro up, this time for the for the Florida/Auburn game. Hey, it's a slow bye week.
  • Robot Charlie has an interesting bit of info on why Talley left, and frankly, had I been one to speculate, this would have been my last guess.
  • Mike Frank's latest Power Hour was, as my old Indian friend and developer would say, The Awesome. (Now with Charlie Weis Goodness!)
  • Remember how Knute Rockne and Notre Dame basically invented the forward pass, and then Notre Dame basically abandoned the idea for decades? SMQ says the Turtle is bringing the sexy back to Florida in the form of the Single Winged T Spread Attack, Knute Rockne/Pop Warner style.
