Yesterday, the White Sox announced a promotional deal with national retail chain 7-11. As part of the deal, the White Sox will begin home games at 7:11 pm.
Soon after news of the White Sox deal was announced, the University of Florida announced its own deal that will involve all University of Florida games starting at 4:20. No official word yet on the promotional sponsor.
Says Florida Athletics Director, Jeremy Foley:
"Hey, man. Just think about it for a second. Just think about it. Think about the players, man. The players. Yeah. The players. It's, like, so natural. Yeah."
